SUMMER BLISS pt. I

This summer I have been to Italy for the first time. It was a personal dilemma for the longest, somehow I never got the chance to go to Italy – a shame for an art historian! We’ve travelled north Italy from July till August & I decided to split the posts as I’ve taken way tooooo many pictures!

This post shows the beginning of our trip: the very old village Canale, where we spent most of our trip, our house and it’s surroundings. There are many small resort towns located all around Lake Garda, our village was high up in the mountains. Canale is a very small rural commune and living there made us feel like in the Middle Ages. Now it’s September and my favorite time of the year has started! I am preparing for the cozy times at home, creating delicious images for you to enjoy. In the meantime we can enjoy the last days of summer, reminiscing about long days at the beach & being inspired by the creative energy of antique remains… I love going through images of the last vacation and think about the good times we had…
